Interview with David Pyle:

How does Enterprise Capital differ from other mortgage brokers?

Access to lenders, our quick response time and customer service. 

With access to hundreds of lenders, we ensure our clients get the most loan dollars for their properties with great interest rates and terms.  We do not automatically put our clients’ properties in a box and assume they have only a few financing options.  At Enterprise Capital, we methodically and thoroughly examine all financing options.

The next distinction for us is our response time.  Our underwriters have a proven methodology in place that allows us to get quotes out the door quickly.

Everyone preaches customer service but most do not deliver.  Having worked for a few of these companies, we hated that they did not follow through with their customer service.  At Enterprise Capital, we make sure all of our associates are on the same page as our clients.  Furthermore, we keep our clients informed of the progress of their deal at every step.  Our job includes educating our clients on what is happening, why and what all the options are.  No client should ever feel un-informed.

Talk about the underwriting & closing team at Enterprise Capital.

We have built a great team here.  Our financial gurus are some of the best in the industry.  These guys have lots of experience at closing deals that other companies walked away from because of the complex nature of the deal.  David Pyle heads up that group.  David knows this industry cold.  I have known David for years and he continues to impress me with his knowledge.  He makes things happen that most people can’t.

The underwriters have great track records for being creative.  We want them to look at all the options they can provide to a client.  I hate to say we want them thinking outside the box, but it’s true.

As a client, how do I know I will receive great service?

“Put yourself in the shoes of your client.”  That is one of our mottos that we constantly tell ourselves.  We have an intimate knowledge of the challenges our customers face.  Also, we make sure we clearly understand the goals of the client, both long-term and short-term.  We create a partnership with the client to meet those goals.

It is very important to us to have on-going training with our employees.  When a client calls in with questions, our policy is that an answer is delivered that afternoon or the next morning.

How will the Internet effect this industry?

Clearly the Internet is a great medium for communicating.  It has revolutionized many industries.  Residential lending needs are being satisfied via the Internet.  However, our clients have needs that go beyond entering some information on a web page and receiving a quote.  Due to the complex nature of this business, we are not there yet.  People in this industry want to do business with people.  Service is our middle name.
